Mission Statement

Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces provides opportunities for our participants to heal individual and relational wounds in order to live more fulfilling lives and contribute creatively and intentionally to relationships, institutions, culture, and society. 

We facilitate spiritual and psychological growth through pastoral counseling, programs, Intensives, and ceremonies.  

We train and ordain ministers (counselors) to deliver healing services with devotion and competence.

At Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces, we hold that all life is sacred. 

We live in an interconnected world where all life forms interact with all other life forms. 

All there is IS relationship. 

We acknowledge that our thoughts, words, and actions effect those around us. 

We strive to create harmony throughout the world. 

We believe that body, mind, spirit, community and our environment work together. 

We live in love and integrity, with wisdom and creativity, seeking to bring conscious awareness to life. 

We breathe Life into life. 

We are vital, alive, and participate actively in creating a world of beauty, peace and joy. 

We are ministers of Love and Life.

Our congregation consists of those who seek our assistance in the pursuit of spiritual balance, healing and growth. 

Health and well-being are achieved through an integrated awakening of physical, mental, and emotional processes. 

We work towards an integration of all aspects of our Being.

 We support those who seek our services; this is our commitment and our right under the Constitution of the United States of America. 

Our ministers are ordained by Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces.  

Our ministers agree to serve in areas in which they have been trained and demonstrate competency.

The purpose of Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces is to enable people 

to live life more fully.

This includes making conscious choices in our lives; 

celebrating and deepening our own spirituality 

and bringing that into everyday practice;

seeing more deeply into ourselves, healing and growing,

recovering our original innocence and freedom, living intentionally, 

and creating new forms of self-expression.

The foundation of Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces’ work

is providing an environment of safety,

where individuals are able to express themselves honestly and openly. 

We offer counseling and educational programs 

that are spiritual and psychological in nature.

We also generate ceremonies and experiences that celebrate life 

and times of transition, creatively drawing from and creating rituals 

with respect for other’s traditions, cultures, and heritages.

We also train others to lead programs and provide spiritual counseling.

Breath of Life Ministries of Las Cruces honors and respects

the inter-relatedness of life,

the value of authentic communication,

the need and right to privacy,

each person’s authentic self-expression, wherever she or he is on life’s path,

each person’s essence and unique gifts, 

and each person’s heritage, traditions, ancestry, and culture.
